Growing up in Arlington, Kansas gave me the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and appreciate the beauty of natural landscapes and rural settings, which would play an important role later in my life career. After graduating from Fairfield High School I received my certification in Urban Studies from Wichita State University and began my work as city clerk for the city of Arlington.

In 2008, I married Justin Vogt and we moved to Pretty Prairie where in 2010 we were given the opportunity to open Potter Creek outfitters, a hunting preserve located approximately 5 miles north of Pretty Prairie. Potter Creek Outfitters now has over 4,000 acres across the state of Kansas. We offer guided turkey, deer, and Upland game bird hunts. Our Newly remodeled lodge has accommodations for up to 14 hunters and features a full kitchen, bar, and lounge.

It was during the operation of the hunting lodge that I began to notice a need for our clients – they were constantly looking to purchase land in different parts of Kansas, so when the opportunity presented itself to become an agent for United County, I knew I could not pass it up. Becoming a real estate agent was a natural match between Potter Creek Outfitters and our clients.

My name is Gail Crenshaw. I come from a military background. My parents served in the US Air Force for over 20 years. Born in Arkansas and moving many times, I have been blessed to lived on both sides of the world, stationed in the Philippines and also Germany and England. I graduated high school in Lakenheath, England. We moved back to Missouri where I attended Southwest Baptist University. There I met David Crenshaw (also from an Air Force family), and after a short romance, married. That was 39 years ago. We have 4 children, Joshua (married to Jamee), Janell (married to Adam Crank), James (married to Latisha) and Jenifer (married to Adam Seymour). We have 10 grandchildren, 7 boys and 3 girls. We have been Butler County residents for 36 years, 4 in El Dorado, and then 15 in Leon. The past 16 years we have lived in our rural community just outside of El Dorado.
